As per Monday’s post, you’ll have to excuse some missing posts this month. My semester is pretty crazy so you’ll have to bear with me. I have a project due tomorrow so I have to make this quick so I can finish it up!
Our a/c is fixed! HURRAH!!!! If you don’t know, it’s best to change your furnace filter if you have central air a few times a year because if you don’t, the air gets blocked, starts leaking and then you pay $150 for the guy (or girl) to come in and empty out a small pipe that takes around two minutes to do.
Breakfast! Due to this heat I still cannot bring myself to cook anything hot so breakfast was natural vanilla yogurt with ground flaxseed, chia seeds, half a large banana and two sliced strawberries.
The no-cooking transitioned into lunch where I had a salad (same type as the last post), slice of oat bran bread with peanut butter and some berries!
I do love my berries! LOVE that cherries are in season again! YUMMY!!!
When I got home I figured the only thing I could do without generating heat was to flip this switch:
It’s my rice cooker! My favourite kitchen appliance! I decided to carry on Gina’s Indian Wednesday theme and have brown rice with palak paneer!
I may have another plate, it’s TOO good! Palak paneer is my favourite!
And later, as a treat, I’ll pop some popcorn!
I’m about as exciting as staring at the back of my hands right now. What’s going on with you that’s exciting?!
